Who, What, Where, Why?

Starting a transformation is less about finding the right answers and more about asking the right questions. As your lifestyle coach, I view this phase as "The Inventory." We need to look at your life with radical honesty and curiosity.

Here are the essential questions to ask yourself, broken down by category, to spark that internal shift.

Phase 1: The Mirror (Self-Awareness)

Before you change where you’re going, you have to acknowledge exactly where you are.

• What am I tolerating? List the things in your life—relationships, habits, or environments—that drain your energy but you’ve accepted as "normal."

• What is the "cost of inaction"? If I stay exactly as I am for the next five years, what will my health, mental state, and relationships look like?

• What is my "Why" behind the "What"? If you want to lose weight or get a promotion, ask why five times until you reach the emotional core (e.g., "I want to feel capable of playing with my kids without getting tired").

Phase 2: The Vision (The Destination)

Transformation requires a "North Star" so you don't get lost in the day-to-day grind.

• Who is the person I admire most, and which of their traits do I already possess? (This reminds you that the "seeds" of greatness are already in you).

• If I had 100% certainty that I could not fail, what is the first thing I would change tomorrow?

• How do I want to feel when I wake up? Focus on the feeling (peaceful, energized, powerful) rather than just the external achievement.

Phase 3: The Strategy (The Mechanics)

This is where we bridge the gap between "dreaming" and "doing."

• What is the "Lead Domino"? What is the one habit that, if changed, would make everything else easier or unnecessary? (e.g., waking up earlier, meal prepping, or setting a phone boundary).

• What must I say "No" to so I can say "Yes" to myself? You cannot add a new life without subtracting parts of the old one.

• How can I make the first step so small it’s impossible to fail? (e.g., instead of "working out for an hour," start with "putting on my gym shoes.")

A Coach’s Tip

Don't try to answer all of these at once. Pick three that resonate with you most right now and journal on them for 10 minutes. The goal isn't to be perfect; it's to be intentional.

Would you like me to help you take one of these questions and turn it into a concrete 7-day action plan?
